Hello! If you are reading this, you have found my blog! Isn't that exciting? Now I guess you'd like to know a little more about me. Hmm, where to begin?
Well, I am a young woman currently living in Manitoba, Canada. When I was in high school I decided to become a vegetarian in order to loose weight. I stopped eating fast food and going out to restaurants completely and began to make my own food at home. Turns out, I love to cook!
I get my protein from nuts, beans, fish (mostly salmon and tuna), eggs, tofu, greek yogurt, and quinoa. But someday I dream of becoming a vegan. You know the saying, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"? Yeah, that's the rule I follow when it comes to bananas. I love the taste of them, and nutritionally wise they're at the top of the list. Everything else is all fruits and veggies. I just usually buy what ever is in season.
On a side note, because there are so many members of my family that have celiac disease, I'll probably be posting a couple of gluten free recipes.
